Two Truths and a Lie. But Really Two This Time.

November 3, 2011

Just for funsies as I’m trolling the blogosphere this morning. Guess which one I’m being untruthful about:

  • I have read all of the Harry Potter books. 1.5 times.
  • I rowed crew in college.
  • My first literary crush was Gilbert Blythe.
Is it ridiculously immature that I love this game? Yes? Well, at least I’m consistent.
Standard rules apply: Play in your comments. I don’t do giveaways, so you won’t win anything. Except maybe a blog shoutout. If you have insider knowledge, it’s like insider trading if you play. In other words, wrong. Like house arrest wrong. Except not that bad because it’s a game, but you get the point.
Update: I told you math makes my brain implode. There really are two truths, despite my misleading headline. This is unlike the last time we played, when I had a list of over 15 possibilities. Which, in hindsight, was excessive. Apologies…carry on.

So are there 2 lies? If so, then I’m going with the first 2 as lies. If it’s one, then I’m torn between the two. . .

One lie. Sorry for the confusion. Last time I played Two Truths and a Lie here I had a list of like 15 possibilities, so this time I figured I’d adhere to real math, as stifling as I often find it.

The lie: I have read all of the Harry Potter books. 1.5 times.

My guess is that the first and third are true, the second is a lie

I’ll post the answer tomorrow! There are masses who want their fair share at a blog shoutout.

Aww! I didn’t know you’d posted this, otherwise I totally would have taken a shot at it. I probably would have been wrong. I thought for sure you’d read HP by now.
